Essential Requirements
• Posses a minimum of one year as a CST and ophthalmology experience required. Familiar with Alcon equipment preferred.
• Qualified candidates required certification from accredited surgical technologist school
• CPR certification required
• Knowledge of Instrument processing and handling
• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards

- • Strong organizational skills
- • Computer literate and experienced with basic Microsoft Office applications and EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
- • Previous experience in a medical setting, preferred
- • Bilingual in Spanish-a plus

Certified Ophthalmic Angiographer (COA)/Certified Retinal Angiographer (CRA)
Ideal candidate should be experienced and proficient in performing the following tests with clear and accurate photos:
- Fundus fluorescein angiography
- Fundus Camera
- OCT
- B-Scans
- Visual Fields
- And more – specific to retina assessments
This candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented and proficient with most computer software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment yet demonstrates patience when photographing and explaining instructions to the patient.
